
Three killed and one abducted in Panyang village
BOR – Authorities in Jonglei state said three people killed and a girl child have been abducted during an attack in Duk-Panyang on Monday.
Speaking to Jonglei Website, Peter Chol Galuak the commissioner of Duk Padiet County accused criminals from Boma state of killing two women, a man and abducted an eighteen old girl.
Chol said the armed criminals escape with seventy four herds of cattle.
“I am urging youths in the area to be on alert about this armed criminals so that they protect themselves and their cattle” Chol said.
This week, series of cattle raiding left seven people dead and several others injured in Paliau area of Twic East County. Another person was killed in Baidit village last Friday.
Despite the ongoing insecurity in state, Jonglei government is hoping for peace solutions with Boma state.
Authorities from Boma state were unable to be reached for comment.
