BOR, 7th FEBRUARY, 2019 [JONGLEI]–The government of Jonglei state is set to hold a peace rally in the state capital Bor, on the 15th of February. Atong Kuol Manyang, the state Minister for Information says high profile and neighboring States officials of Eastern Lakes, Terekeka, Jubek and Greater Jonglei States will participate in the rally.
“The organizers of this peace rally are the people of Jonglei and Greater Jonglei will take part and also neighboring States of Trekeka, Eastern Lakes and also officials from Jubek. It is the not for us alone in Jonglei but also our neighbors. The rally is all about South Sudan peace because we support it” Atong explained.
According to her, dignitaries will start arriving on 14th February a day before the occasion. She calls on the public to turn up in large numbers that day to celebrate the Revitalized Peace Agreement signed last year in Khartoum.
