Juba- the newly appointed Governor of Jonglei state has been sworn today before president of the republic General Salva Kiir Mayardit.
Denay was a nominee of South Sudan opposition alliances commonly known as SSOA. He was first appointed as the minister of higher education science and technology. When the allocation of the states was finalised by the two principals, Jonglei state goes to the opposition alliances (SSOA). As the result, Denay was relieved from his position and appointed as the governor of Jonglei state.
