BOR, 8th MARCH, 2019 [JONGLEI] –The residents of Bor Town are being urged to continue cleaning their neighborhood as President Salva Kiir is expected to visit Bor Town after concluding Bahr el Ghazal Tour. Speaking to the media, Jonglei State Information Minister Atong Kuol Manyang disclosed that Jonglei State is in the waiting list after Bahr el Ghazal tour but not sure of the date.
“The president is coming but the date is not known. He is currently touring Greater Bahr el Ghazal and our region is in his next program. If done there, he will inform us about the date. We are informing people to continue with cleaning daily and be prepared” Atong explained
According to her, Governor Philip Aguer during his official visit to Twic East and Athooch Counties has informed the inhabitants there to take part in the event.
President Salva Kiir Mayardit last visited Jonglei State on 12th March 2012 when he declared disarmament campaign in the region.
